Momo the monkey found a big banana. “Yummy!” he said. “This banana looks perfect.” But Momo did not eat it. He put it on his head. “Look! I have a banana hat!” Bella the bird flew down and said, “Momo, that is not a hat. That is food.” Momo smiled. “Today, it is fashion.” Dodo the dog saw Momo and ran to the kitchen. He came back with bread on his head. “I have a bread hat!” said Dodo. Ellie the elephant wanted a hat too. She picked up a big cake and put it on her head. Everyone was quiet. Then the cake slowly slipped down. SPLAT! The cake landed on Ellie’s face. “I can smell cake,” said Ellie, “but I cannot see cake!” Everyone laughed. Grandpa Owl said, “Food is for eating, not for wearing.” Momo took off the banana and said, “Okay. But it was a very stylish banana.”
