🦘 The Kangaroo’s Full Pocket
Kiki the kangaroo had a big pocket. Her baby, Jojo, loved putting things inside it. First, Jojo put in a toy car. Then a ball. Then a banana. Then one shoe. Then a spoon. Then a small teddy bear. Kiki looked down. “My pocket feels heavy.” Jojo smiled. “It is not heavy. It is organized.” Kiki tried to hop. Boing. Clunk. Boing. Clunk. “What is making that sound?” asked Kiki. Jojo said, “Maybe the spoon is dancing with the shoe.” Kiki looked inside the pocket. “Jojo, where are you?” A tiny voice said, “Under the banana.” Kiki took out the banana. Then the shoe. Then the spoon. Then the teddy bear. Finally, Jojo popped out. “Hello!” Kiki said, “From now on, only babies in the pocket.” Jojo nodded. Then he whispered to the teddy bear, “You can visit tomorrow.”
