Sammy the snake went to a clothing shop. “I need socks,” he said. The shopkeeper smiled. “How many socks do you need?” Sammy looked at his body. He looked at the floor. He looked behind him. Then he said, “Hmm. I have zero feet.” The shopkeeper said, “Then you need zero socks.” Sammy smiled. “Great! How much do zero socks cost?” “Nothing,” said the shopkeeper. Sammy was very happy. “I love shopping here!” Then he saw a pair of shoes. “I want shoes too,” said Sammy. The shopkeeper said, “For your zero feet?” Sammy nodded. “Yes. I want to look fancy.” The shopkeeper gave him an empty box. Sammy looked inside. “There are no shoes.” “Correct,” said the shopkeeper. “Zero shoes.” Sammy paid zero dollars. He left the shop proudly with his empty box. A rabbit asked, “What did you buy?” Sammy smiled. “Invisible socks and zero shoes. Very light and very comfortable.”
